Our Story
The original Corsairs Hockey Organization started in the summer of 2016 initially as youth hockey club. Built by two coaches/ friends, Buddy Fugman and Evan Christenson. Using an existing program offered by a local YMCA in an area that was not know for hockey, the two friends created a name and identity. The "Corsairs" brand, star, and airplane logos were born as a nod to the local WWII veterans in the area. It became a symbol the players and community could stand behind.
They built a structure that would teach the game of hockey as well as instill positive morals of character, integrity, responsibility and teamwork. The goal was to not only develop great hockey players, but build great people!

Unfortunately coach Evan had to leave after graduating with a degree in law. Then not long after, the facility decided to discontinue the support of the program even though the program continued to grow.

However the Corsairs Hockey brand and spirit continues with head coach, Buddy, offering hockey focused equipment service and management, sports specific training/nutrition, and apparel.
